The Hyderabad Vet Murder Case Exposes The Harsh Reality Of Our Society

Recently, I read of yet another rape case. It devastated me. This time, the victim was a 26-year-old veterinary doctor from Hyderabad.

The details of the case are shameful, and still the government is not taking strong action.

What did she do to deserve it? She agreed to take help from some random strangers, not even agreed if we trust the news, but they did not let her go and ask for help someplace else. To be precise, they punctured her scooty and offered to help her, forced her to accept the help, abducted her, gang-raped her and then burnt her body in order to destroy evidence.

Now, where is humanity? Now, where is the so-called civil society who always undertake a candle light march when something dangerous happens? Where?

How harsh will this world get for women? Where is the government? Where is justice? What else is left to see?

Still, just a request to all the women out there, since some are really dominated by their lust and demons inside them, start seeking the help of police if anything like this happens. Don’t trust strangers, because humanity doesn’t exist. This proves we are living in a harsh society. Now, patience has crossed its own limit.

How long shall we fight? Why do we not teach humanity lessons in school? Now, where is the “mahila morcha?”

It seems that this fight will continue for centuries. Until there is a stricter law in our country against rape, nothing will change.

In the past, rape was often punished with death, and it is punishable by death in at least 10 countries today: China, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bangladesh, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and North Korea. In my opinion, we should declare death sentence for every rapist.

Rape is a brutal crime we should take a strong stand against it. We should seek a strong punishment from our government.

It is high time. If we do not take a stand now, then the upcoming generation will not be safe, especially women.

How many more women will be crucified?

Stop rape.
