Visualisation Of Mindsets Around The World

Do you prefer peeping into the substantial mind of humans? Interestingly, I want to.
And not to perceive the secrecy of one’s life, but to decipher the minds of contrasting personalities over the globe. You must’ve listened to this masterpiece, “Kitabein bohot si padhi hongi tumne, magar koi chehra jo tumne padha ho…” (You might have read a lot many books, but have you ever read someone’s face?). If anyone of you has ever noticed the lyrics, the lyricist focuses on reading the face which is definitely indicative of one’s emotions. However, I consider reading one’s mindset.

Certainly, there are people who claim that they have the ability to read the psyche of other people. Actually, in my opinion, all of us can read minds, to some extent. The machine can’t really read thoughts but can detect when a specific neutral path is activated.

Our subconscious minds know a lot more than we think. Sometimes, you may have noticed how you feel very unsure about a situation or your career or a person. That’s the feeling from the gut which captures the essence of the mind. Our mind isn’t stable, it’s perpetually thinking of one thing or the other, with an attempt to evenly consider it’s pros and cons.

People, nowadays, are just too indulged in advertising. Receiving compliments and endorsement is an achievement. And a continuous thought of “log kya kahenge!” (What will people say!) keeps provoking their minds.

While writing this, I remember the time when I was sent to Kota for the preparation of NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). If you all aren’t aware of it, it’s a medical entrance test. I was excited yet terrified to go there; since childhood, I had a keen interest in medicine, and my dad wanted me to crack the medical entrance test. I was unable to crack it in the first attempt, then I was sent again; this time with higher hopes and higher levels of anxiety, because obviously, “log kya kahenge” if I don’t crack it in this attempt? And I failed, again, my Dad was disappointed, I was completely appalled and distressed. “I gave my best, yet I couldn’t crack it” was a thought popping up in my mind, however, “what will people think of me” was the ultimate thought.

Evidently, this is the mindset of every other being. We’re more concerned about what others will think, instead of what we want. This thought provoked me to visualise the entire theory of the psyche.

We assume that our thoughts are not predictable; no one can understand what is going on in our minds. That is exactly true. According to Derren Brown, UK-based mentalist and illusionist, “People’s belief that they are not predictable is actually one of their more predictable traits”. With practice and training, many people can learn the skills of mind reading.

You may have to increase your power of observation and deduction to master this skill. Our thoughts often beget a physical reaction that may go unnoticed by an untrained eye. However, if you can observe every minute details of the reaction, then you can interpret what is going on in that person’s mind, easily.

I would say, each one of us should increase our power of observation and look around to read either a book or a mind; it’s soothing and thrilling anyways.
