160 trees of Apta adopted by Borivali Malyali Samaj BMS members today at Annual meet held at VK Krishna Menon Education Academy as cultural and social event.
An initiative by Bhavya Shah with Volunteers from Mission Green Mumbai set us a stall at the event for a day were 1000+ members were to attend the event; the visitors were requested to adopt a plant for Sustainable Mumbai.
Adding to the green cover of the city, the school also added 200+ trees as an initiative where the trustees and members added a tree each. With support from BMC Garden Department, the best quality saplings were made available.
“Such great initiatives must to appreciated and respected”, said Subhajit Mukherjee, Founder of Mission Green Mumbai.
