Brutal Force Against Students of Jamia Milia Islamia Unacceptable. Syed Karar Hashmi

Brutal force used against Jamia Milia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University Students  unjustified and Shameful .  Aga Syed Karar Hashmi

Srinagar 15/Dec/19: The Socio-Political Activist from Kashmir Syed Karar Hashmi terming excessive use of police action against  Jamai Milia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University protesting passing of Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAG) unjustified and shameful , added such steps against people of its country will lead India  towards chaos, destruction  and lawlessness. The way security personals are using methods of excessive violence on students , seems that animals are more precious than human lives in India.

Hashmi said in a Press statement that Once India known as the largest democracy  of  the  world, at contemporary crossing all of its decency, values and methods on which democracy survives. Anybody trying to call spade a spade is charged with the label of Anti-national, fundamentalist, terrorist,  separatist and what not. It is not at all democracy,  in which voice of people are been Supressed by the barrel of gun or by passing laws against aspirations of its people. The current situation of the entire country is volatile due to the fact that the Bhartiya Janta Party is trying to execute it’s ideology on entire country , on contrary bypassing the great  legacy and history of making India. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari,  the BJP is using tactics of hate  against one another with an aim of gaining political points over others.

Syed Karar further added that the secular ethos and values of Indian Constitution  are under threat due to the fact that majority of politicians are using religious colors  to secular laws not for making something good but trying to dividing people for miser political interests.  The passing of Citizens Amendment Bill (CAG) will violates the principle of secularism that is embodied in the country’s Constitution.

In 05 August this year , the Indian government stripped the majority-Muslim state of Jammu and Kashmir  of its autonomous status without consulting state legislature and it’s people, depicts the arrogance and misusing of political authority. Now same tactics are been used in North east states to suppress their voice even casualties and lives of people seems unmattered. Nearly two million people in India’s northeast Assam  state were left off a controversial new National Register of Citizens (NRC)  and could be used to justify religious discrimination against Muslims in the state.    The brutal force used against students of Jamia Islamia Delhi is unfortunate and heard rendring in a country claiming largest democracy of the globe.   Kashmiri Activist added
