Digitization has already made its impact on our day to day life. Some of the changes that we came across in our day-to-day life due to digitalization are:

  2. Newspapers and books are replaced by newsletters and e-books.
  3. Classroom teaching is slowly being replaced by online courses.

  2. Easy access to all the resources. Thanks to the internet!
  3. Short time delivery of services like
Food will be delivered to you within 40 minutes
Can hire a taxi within minutes
Letters are replaced by emails, which can be sent within seconds.

Impact on Environment

1. Digitization helps in reducing paper waste by replacing traditional paper use.
2. It helps in reducing fuel consumption and emission of carbon monoxide by replacing traditional petrol and diesel vehicles with electric vehicles.
3. It helps in saving natural resources.

Digitization has played a major role in helping the Indian economy grow. Major Indian cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad are now becoming IT hubs. Cashless transactions are encouraged due to digitization, which helps authenticate and formalize the transactions that are done. This helps in curbing corruption, and the flow of black money which results in an increase of economic growth.
