Social Activist Padman Chitransh gets Exclusive Social Award 2019
Bareilly’s NGO MyPADBANK was awarded the Exclusive Social Award 2019. This award is given to the social worker who brings positive changes in society. And, in this area, Bareilly’s own Padman Chitransh Saxena and his team, have been constantly making people aware of periods/menstruation by going to urban, rural areas and slums, and buying pads.
Also, the NGO has organised pad-vending machines, painting competitions, the largest pad records, open mikes, girl safety programs etc. in the city. The goal of Mypadbank is to break the menstruation taboo from the minds of the people and to create awareness among the masses.
