Poem: ‘They Defined Dictatorship As Democracy’

They defined “silence” as peace,

They defined “dissent ” as rebellion,

They defined “conscious ” as Urban Naxals,

Then they came, ruled and raped.

They defined “citizens ” as subjects,

They defined “slavery ” as freedom,

They defined “lie” as a truth,

Then they came, ruled and raped.

They defined “oligarchy” as governance,

They defined “dichotomy ” as law,

They defined “dictatorship ” as democracy,

Then they came, ruled And raped.

And turned the COUNTRY into a NATION..
