Recently released bollywood piece Panga has successfully displayed to the ordains about the hardships and challenges faced by a woman as a mother . Not only does she has to give her physical presence to her motherhood but her emotional well being is totally ignored not only by her but also her family members .How beautifully some dialogues unclothed the truth ,”Maa ke koi sapne nahi hote”, “jab mai tumhe dekhti hu tab khush hoti hu jab adi ko dekhti to bohot khushi hoti hai par jab khud ko dekhti hu to khush nahi hoti”.
Most of the woman in working group would be able to tell about the difficulties they would be facing in raising a child with work , and not because of the reason that bringing up a child is tough but because they are left with no support from either their spouse , or in laws or may be in some cases her own family .And also the mother who are not working would understand it the best that if ever there was an ambitious in their eyes , could never chase that because of they did not have support to do so . Raising a child was the responsibility of parent and not only a mother . She has to kill the dreams . She has to change the nappy , she has to feed the baby , she has to hold her/ him all day , she has to lose her sleep , she has to miss her food , she has to ….The list is endless .
The irony is men have accepted the new role a woman of going outside for work , may be because it brings financial security to rhe family but men have not accepted the rights she need to have linked to the role . Everything is fine till she is a good wife , a good daughter in law , a good house keeper , a good mother . She can not bargain for not being a good house keeper because of work load she has .She can not say that she is tired so can’t offer him a tea. She can’t say that she has to reach office on time when other works are left pending before her , she can not say that her work is also important for her.
Society has come far through the ancient civilizations , economy has is touching the skies , neglecting the role of a woman as a house maker . She is the backbone of a family. Before clapping on the movie just look inside you , try to find out the reason directors are making such movies.
Woman has proved herself everytime , and man has made her to prove her everytime. She too has dreams , she too can be ambitious . Let her ….. Let her .
