The food catering rooms at the Thrissur (Kerala) Railway Station lack cleanliness in their food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
The snacks kept in the glass shelf are covered in flies most of the time. They also keep the food waste outside of their kitchen, where rats can be seen nibbling on the waste. Also, the backdoor of the kitchen is not closed. This means that the kitchen is not clean or safe for cooking food for the passengers.
A possible reason for this is a lack of strict supervision of managers or supervisors. This situation shows that passengers are having unclean food from these stalls.
