Quick Byte: The Beauty Of The Four Letter Word, Held Back By Societal Expectations

A little birdie once told me, how her life didn’t prove to be satisfactory in order to revel in the joys of love. She was a confident, charming, caring and a loving woman who didn’t know to love in halves. She ardently gave her soul to the man of her feelings.

Alas! This was not enough. ‘Enough’ is not what it should be called, he didn’t even have the capacity to start a serious relationship.

A different caste, along with her professional independence made a murky mixture of the state of affairs and prohibited the commencement of a beautiful union that could have contributed to everyone’s happiness and eternal satisfaction.

It is a sad reality that factors including caste, work adjustments and parental consent, which at times may be lavished on personal choice or may be based on dowry, dictate love and put it in a cage of everlasting doom.
