It was in 6th standard. I was at home and saw that blood was on my underpants. I didn’t know how to react and I had absolutely no idea about periods at that time so I didn’t even speak to anyone about it. My mom was not at home at that time, when she returned and saw that my clothes had blood stains, she understood and made me wear a pad. I was so shocked and confused by what was happening.
I have an elder sister who is 6 years elder to me but in spite of that I had absolutely no idea of periods. For the first few months I struggled. I would got to school and get my pants stained but thank god ultimately I came to terms with it and now have no problem and feel proud to be a girl and a woman<3.
