Subject:- Regarding taboos of menstruation in Bihar
Respected Sir,
With due respect I would like to draw your attention towards the various problems persisting due to menstruation. Menstruation is a normal process in females but due to lack of hygiene and protection it is becoming a health issue among various population.
There is a need to decrease the prices of sanitary pads and start awareness programmes training females about health issues related to menstruation and importance of hygiene during periods. One way to decrease health issues and taboos is to install sanitary pads vending machine in every public toilets free of cost. Another way is to provide them menstrual caps which are reusable upto 10 years and their cost are also not very much high.
I hope you will consider about my thoughts and provide some facilities to the female population of Bihar so that more females can become asset in our state. Thank you.
