Covid 19: What Are You Grateful For In This Lockdown Period?

Music

Why take quarantine as a limitation when you can do so much in this lockdown period and actually be grateful for so many things? Even in this critical situation, you’ll find people spreading misleading information about Covid-19, creating a sense of fear and panic among people. So, please check the facts before spreading any piece of information.

However, with everything closed in my city, or country actually, I have been getting this positive feeling that the situation will be under control very soon and there will be a day we will hear about no new cases. Being a wanderer, I do not have anywhere to go except for the different rooms in my home. But mostly, one will find me with my mac, a notepad and a cup of coffee in my room.

I know everybody is getting bored, so I thought of throwing a little light on the things which will make sure that we survive and healthily. There are things which I am grateful and blessed for, and I think it might hold for some of you too.

1. Social workers, healthcare workers, delivery workers, government servants such as policemen, who are constantly making sure that the situation is under control.

2. The most important thing right now is “You are alive and disease-free”.

3. That you have food, water, a roof on your head, friends, family, work from home options and all the basic necessities you could need.

4. That you are educated. Be thankful about it and create awareness about a lot of things as misinformation on social media platforms.

5. That we have journalists and different media members who are constantly updating us about the situations worldwide.

6. That you have access to the internet. I guess this is the most important thing after being alive and having food in today’s scenario as it gives you access to n number of things.

7. That you have your music, books and gadgets. These are sources of peace for a lot of people in the world.

8. Also, your family members, who make sure to add a funny instinct in this boredom.

9. Last but not least, you have access to various online platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube and so many others which give you both paid and free access to so many regular videos, movies, tv-series, educational series and much more.

So, these are the few things that I am obliged to have. I hope everybody around the globe is staying at home and keeping healthy. Because its this staying at home which will help us eradicate this virus.

Please comment below and share with everyone about the things you are grateful for today.
