What Is It That Motivates Me To Write?

Often you find yourself in a situation where you are not able to express yourself properly, the way you wanted. Often you observe something and you want to tell people what you saw. Often, you learn something new, struggle to move on and be a better version of yourself. We all have our ways of expressing certain things, emotions, observations to people. Mine is poetry.

Poetry has always been something that fascinated me since childhood. I use to memorise them and recite them in front of my parents, though I can’t do that now. Literature has always been a part of me, my name has literature in it. I can’t help but write poetry everywhere and anywhere.

So what is it that motivates me to write?

I believe we all have a different perspective on life, we all have certain beliefs, aspirations, beliefs, and more. I want people to read what this curly-haired girl thinks about life. I write poetry mostly on experiences and observations sometimes on things that I couldn’t express to certain people at a given point in time.

When I wrote, ‘Sshh Sshh Our Little Secret’, I was doing a daily chore when these words came to my mind and the story formed itself. A lot of times thoughts, ideas hit us at random places, at such time I tend to write them in my little diary and expand them later.

I guess we are all artists in our own way, and we should keep polishing our medium of expression.
