Its been a difficult phase, not only for India but the entire world. COVID-19 is on a rampage and has done much destruction, puzzling scientists, and world leaders. The world is facing an unprecedented challenge, and India, the world’s largest democracy, is under a nationwide lockdown to contain the much-feared transmission. So, while we are locked inside our abodes and, before we come out after almost two weeks, here are a few things that you could do to keep yourself engaged.

To keep yourself balanced and calm, you may do some meditation.

1.Explore Your Creative Side

‘Creativity knows no bounds.’ This summer, try to explore the wildest of your imagination when it comes to creative pursuit. Painting, indoor Photography, sketching, reading, and there are plenty of activities that one could think of, ranging from hobby to learning something again.

2.Cook

For those who struggle to try new dishes day in and day out, you could probably learn some tasty YouTube recipes. It’s the right time to try your hand at cooking.

3. Read:

Avid readers of fiction and non-fiction can have a merry time reading the books that you may have put off earlier. It’s an excellent time to turn the pages while keeping yourself busy on something other than surfing the internet.

4. Meditate:

To keep yourself balanced and calm, you may do some meditation. A few minutes are sufficient if you wish to feel better and relaxed.

5.Yoga:

Doing Yoga keeps you fit. You may try different asanas, breathing exercises for a sound body and mind.

6. Make Motivational Videos

For those who have been waiting all this long to dispel their fears of public speaking, its a great time to make motivational videos. In these tough times, the world needs more positivity, motivation, and optimism to carry on the battle against corona. You may try to fine-tune your skills by making some excellent short videos. Stay motivated, stay happy. 

7. Learn Vocabulary

For connoisseur type of people, learning new words each day would be an excellent choice to go by. For writers who see themselves as future authors or opinion, makers may learn one word per day and utilize the time in the best possible way.

8. Add More Value To Your Life

Most importantly, spend time with your family, your loved ones. Talk, talk, and talk. Do things together, clean the house, or discuss your plans.

9. Pray More

The world needs prayers more than ever before. You can pray to god, offer namaaz, do some alms for the poor and needy. This world will become a better place if we help one another.

10. Learn Online

You may join some online classes, and it could be pilates, cooking, writing, aerobics, or anything that you always wanted to do but could not due to lack of time.

11.Netflix Or Amazon

Utilize time in a better way by watching some good movies, documentaries on Netflix or Amazon.

12.Discover Your Idea About The Art Of Living

It’s an excellent time to ponder over your plans and think about where life is going. Give your life the right direction; now that you have time, you may chart out some aspirations, goals for your coming days.

These are some of the suggestions I could think of to make the best possible use of our time. Till the time we are under this lockdown, let’s take this in a positive stride and make it successful by staying indoors, keeping proper hygiene. We will be successful in combating this coronavirus with our concerted efforts. India has been known for its values and culture since ancient times, let’s make this lockdown another exemplary historical event as Indians.
