Giving Children A Helping Hand

A group of us friends from Ekya school decided to intern at CRY (Child Rights and You) and little did we realize how it would impact us all in such a tremendous way. CRY, being an organization with such a deep-rooted vision really inspired us. Our agenda was to help gather funds to help impoverished children. CRY had already helped around 41000 families as part of COVID relief so far.

We began the fundraiser with great zeal and since most of us want to do something productive we decided to help out the people from our homes, as we didn’t have any other choice ( Stay at home everyone! ). We realized that we were so lucky to have shelter, food and supplies to meet our daily needs and at the same time, there are thousands and thousands of children who did not have all these privileges like we had so we decided to do the least we could by helping out.

We teamed up, prepared a gameplan and are currently working on Twitter, promoting our links through various social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp. We are enjoying every bit of this experience and learning at the same time. We were motivated to do more. Within two days we were able to raise close to a lakh worth of donations and we are really thankful for your help and we are looking forward to more donations and constantly working to spread awareness for this cause, helping child to child.
