In Photos: Here’s How People Responded To The PM’s Call To ‘Dispel Darkness’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 4, 2020, urged all the citizens of the nation to switch off all electric lights for 9 minutes, and asked the citizens to light candles, diyas, flashlights at their doorsteps or balcony.

Citizens all over India, including children, responded to Narendra Modi’s word to dispel the darkness spread by coronavirus by lighting candles. Here are some of the photographs from around the nation.
