Since the outbreak of COVID-19 started, every place, from malls to restaurants, from schools to offices, have been shut down to prevent social gatherings.
During the quarantine, when everyone is sitting home, there are some people, who are there with us, treating patients to the best of their ability, saving the lives of people who are hit by the disease; some people who are available 24×7, putting in their best efforts and fulfilling their duty.
This is a post dedicated to doctors, nurses, and other frontline workers. They are definitely the strongest people, but we can’t deny the stigma and pressure that are dealing with right now.
No matter what, they have to be available all the time, with no time constraints and constantly giving their best to solve this pandemic issue. Even after so much appeal and awareness through social media or video messages, people aren’t serious and unnecessarily creating problems for them. Not only that, but they are also traumatised by the behaviour of a few people who are posing a threat to their life.
Getting on a deeper side, they haven’t met their family and loved ones since days and if got chance, they to meet for a handful of minutes far apart. They are performing priceless duty in serving mankind, but we are doing nothing in return to them.
Just like us, they too are human beings and they deserve a life of respect and dignity. They are really ‘patient’ (pun intended) because they are sacrificing their life to save ours.
If we can’t understand and help them combat this situation, then there is no worth of our self- being.
