Lockdown: A Chapter Of Change

The pandemic has changed our vision towards the environment and the world. The foreign countries like Italy, Spain, USA, Germany, Switzerland, etc., which have always attracted people with their breathtaking tourism, economy, technology and resources are now helpless and have surrendered before the virus.

Now, people around the globe are in search of the safest place in the universe devoid of all luxuries that can protect their lives. When we look around at our surroundings and environment, we observe how nature has started breathing again suffocating its violators in the cage.

The rivers have regained natural flow away from pollution and human interference. The hazardous air pollution, which in itself was a threat to people and their respiratory system, has now reduced. The lockdown has also created a new journey of independence for the wildlife and the biodiversity.

The popular chicken, mutton, pork and other meat consumed largely have now taken a pause and these animals are able to roam out in the open. The birds are chirping continuously being fearless, no traffic on road, no harmful emissions are making a difference. People locked in their homes realizes the liberty that nature and wildlife deserved.

The years long destruction, exploitation and pollution that nature has endured is a direct repercussions that humans are facing today. We should inhale the goodness of these chapters and cease disturbing the eternal balance of nature.

This lockdown has imparted lessons worth millions and humanity should be thankful for it. Hope it doesn’t stay as a short term chapter as economy can also function in a sustainable and greener way.
