Poem: If You Know Some Place Where There Is Silence, Please Let Me Know

Where is silence?

Please let me know!

In seek of silence.
Roo, roo, roo… where are you?
I am just coming towards you.
I was wondering in a world of noisiness and poisonous commotion.
My head was almost heavy with turbulent voices.
In search of silence, I cannot find it complete silence.
In my body I cannot find it, as my heart beats vigorously.
In the roads I cannot find it, as cars moves at high speed with horns.
I cannot find it at night, at morning, at gardens, in raindrops, in tears, in society and in the wind.  I cannot find it with my beloved while tenderly moving my fingers into her curls.

I cannot find it in summers with the murmur sound of rivers, winters with the falling sound of snow from roofs, autumn with the rustling sound of leaves, spring with the sound of raindrops.
My pale yellow face with wrinkles was like a face of corpse.
Almost I was a dead body lying on the bed counting the days on calendar.
Day by day I encircled the number of days left on calendar as I had lost will to live.
At the last day of the month I encircled that day with a red pen.
Perhaps I found a silence only in death.
