The world is fighting against the pandemic in a very historic way, meanwhile, the government takes up a small initiative by inviting people to light up diyas and torchlight at a stipulated time. Is this a myth? Is this a support to mythology over science?

I remember that in 2014, our honourable PM remarked that first plastic surgery in the world was performed on Lord Ganesha giving the deity an elephant head, and also during this lockdown once shared with Varanasi’s citizens that Mahabharata war was won in 18 days, we would win the war against COVID-19 in 21 days. It might indicate that PM takes up the pandemic in both scientists and mythologists ways.

As of now, some of us think that only science can beat against COVID-19 or maybe mythology coupled with science can. Pseudoscientific reasons are floating within the ecosystem for example virus dies when the temperature is high. Yet we have to see whether mythology or science is ahead.
