I know times are testing,
demanding restrain and resting
Things are unprecedented,
solutions yet to be invented
An era of lockdown and halt,
but stop blaming or finding fault
Adhere to measures taken,
don’t be at all mistaken
Survival is under question,
reason for fear, stress & aggression
Don’t lose kindness and compassion,
distribute rather stocking ration
Spread knowledge rather rumour,
afraid kids, elders are not humour
Don’t abandon the innocent pets,
regret is the only thing you will get
Put enmity and grudges to rest,
we have a long tiresome quest
Which we can accomplish together,
despite the circumstances or weather
I know chips are down, hope is thin,
but we can’t let the invader win
Don’t worry or be so unsure,
remember prevention is better than cure
