So it’s very obvious, we all have heard about the “Bois locker room” that flashed in a dim view in every news paper.
But actually I felt no strange with such thing, our boys are grown in such atmosphere that everything is ok for them because “arey yeh toh ladka hai” comes in between.
Why such atmosphere is there in Indian society where people actually consider women as goddess?
People learn from there elders and this is what we are taught since we open our eyes outside mother’s womb.
It we flip the pages of Mahabharata we read how a brother in law molested his bhabhi in an exemplary court. There is a bickering relationship between ” jeeja-saali” and “dewar-bhabhi” which is unceremonious celebrated in every house.
Number of molestation cases, stalking frequency adding to shaming and rapes just flicker every ink that writes equality before law in that pious constitution.
Rapes are so overwhelming not just outside homes but inevitably inside too. Recently I read a case about Bhopal’s daughter who was raped by her father and similar cases.
Reviewing such datas a sociological heritage in my brain took me to round over over number of female sociologist, but taking this to a different perspective this can be an illustration of Cultural Lag Theory by W.F Ogburn which says though with the passage to time there is ensured enhancement in economic parts, cultural aspects lie somewhere in the back coaches of the same train. As can be advocated such lag in two facets.
Thus, It is transparent to witness that banning porn won’t be helpful in this country. It is important for children to be taught over such matter not by friends but by parents.
