A feeling of intense joy marks the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, celebrated after a month’s fasting and acts of worship performed with a spirit of discipline.
But, this world today that is combating this pandemic demands this festival to celebrated by a boundless spirit of kindness, charity, renunciation, sacrifice, profound love and compassion.
With humanity as the basis of relationship, unified and together, we will emerge with extraordinary power to preserve with our crusade to fight and overcome the crisis and turn the challenges into opportunities.
Tough times, perseverance, optimism and a determined attitude always bring out the creative best in us. They are sure to pay dividends.
So many people in the world go without a day’s square meals, shelter, and portable drinking water. Let us reach out to those in distress and pray for the healing of the entire humanity. May we live in the light of God’s grace and blessings! It is only in consonance with austerities that we maintain social distancing and celebrate this Eid-ul-Fitr joyfully with robust hope in our hearts tomorrow will be better.
