I’m surprised how the people who keep promoting equality, talking about it all the time, using it as a weapon are the only one trolling this imprisoned scholar, Safoora Zargar, from Jamia who stood up for the students and their rights. First of all, She is married, but even if she wasn’t who the fuck give these stupid people talk all the shit about her. Can y’all mutually decide what exact blame you want to frame her with? Is it for getting married? Or for getting pregnant? Or for being ‘Character-(less)’? Or being a woman or for standing up for what she believed in?
Make up your mind and first question yourself who are you? And what are your beliefs? Is that authentic enough to talk anything about anyone? And, the biggest irony is that on the one side whole country is talking about the Boys Locker Room chat and condemning it with pride, and on the other side asking women to prove their honour time-and-again.
Don’t you think it’s high time to get the concept of equality straight and quash this deep-rooted patriarchal mindset? Or wait, is it just that you don’t really have anything concrete to proof against her so why don’t just demean her. It works always, right? People have been doing this since forever now.
If anyone here still calls them ‘egalitarian’ or ‘feminist’ or ‘humanitarian’ and still letting everything go with ‘ignorance is bliss’ trust me, friend, you need to stop, think and then reflect. I call out everyone out there to give it a thought.
