“Ma Is Universal: My Daughter’s Language”

The first word uttered out of frightening, emotional expression is Ma,

Perhaps, Ma, not Pa or any other words…

Your silence, I wonder what could be,

To this day I ponder the meaning of Ma for those who have missed their Ma,

It’s a couple of years now that I miss my Ma who hears me clear and still she does even now…though separated by seas and mountains.

A scary…as my daughter says…whom you did not see her,

The name I gave Anna Jarvis (The Founder of Mother’s Day),

She too(my daughter) was to be separated from her Ma,

As her Ma was in a coma in her delivery,

She survived a second death after a seizure one early morning, I miss you Ma on your day separated by seas and mountains.

Can a call dial be picked up?

From that heavenly shore, I am told that’s your abode,

My daughter cries for you as unknown,

For you no longer saw her,

But I am determined that the universal call of Ma reminds you of your day echoing in eternity!
