I find this to be good news. My expectation is that this would permit all investments from China and the neighbouring countries to be without approval, for any investment below a 50% stake in the local firm.
My hope is that the conditions would not be too many such that it would require them to take government approval no matter what. I hope this statement given by the official in the article, is held to the spirit of the word.
