I’m a bit lost trying to find how to write about my mother. It would seem that there is nothing easier to write about the most important person in our life.
Primarily she worked hard to ensure that I had a good upbringing.
But was also very strict and often punished me whenever I went wrong. Even though I did not like the punishment then, I look back and realize that it was meant to lovingly correct me and help me to follow the right path when growing up.
The things she taught in my childhood are now giving me a good name.
She used to take great care of me, especially when I was ill. She is a very knowledgeable lady who made a variety of home remedies to help and take care of me and my health.
Not only remedies to cure me, but she also prays for me all the time. My mother is a great cook who always leaves us looking forward to the next meal. She knows how to mix the right ingredients to make a meal that often gets us licking our fingers.
When my mother scolded me, as a child I would get angry that I am not a small kid who needs to be taught everything. But as I became more mature, I started understanding why she scolds me and that is her right to correct me.
A human body can bear only up to 45 DEL (unit) of pain. A mother feels up to 57 DEL of pain while giving birth which is equal to 20 bones getting fractured.
Only a mother will bear that pain to give birth to her child.
A girl can learn so many things from her mother like, as a woman, how I can take up the responsibility to give as much as she gives and so many things.
According to me
M : Million things she taught us
O: Often she leads us to the right path
T : Tears she shed for us
H: Hears us when we are silent
E: Emotionally connected to us
R: Right and Right she always does.
My mother’s name is “Bhanumathi”, which means “Sun”
She is the Sun to my life…..☀️
Finally, I want to say, thank you Amma for all your support and love.
