#MyPeriodStory: My Period Story

It is certainly true that whenever we think of periods; cramps, pain and blood spot and feeling of being ashamed comes into mind.
Well my case was bit different as I was well prepared and taught by my mom about this stage of teenage, two years ago because I started at quite later age.
If I can remember I was 14 years old, after a good sleep previous night, woke up early morning and went for my bicycle riding learning session, then I spotted blood on the bed , I rushed to washroom as I felt like something pouring out without my control over it. i checked my panties and felt very nervous, everything seemed dark and almost blank. Somehow I managed to come back to my bedroom and to overcome my fear and shame I lied on bed and didn’t know had a good nap. My all activities was looked up and my mom kept an eye on that, she came quietly near to me and asked about my health that how I was feeling, instantly she shared her experience too and suggested how to keep calm. My period was very painful since I started very late and was my first one.
Later I felt confident as per my mother’s guideline. My period was not regular, again it strike after couple of months and was on and off. So to make sure everything was okay and no sign of nutrition deficiency I consulted gynaecologist and was assured that it was quite common during start of the period and was prescribed nutrition boosting pills then I felt more confident.
Therefore, throughout my journey I realised how important role a mother plays and thought of care too. How it feels to be with someone close during these situation to take care of yourself and console. Since then I started my journey to bear this with my routine. All precaution like homemade remedies to curb pain and cramp. Keeping myself calm with meditation.
Now I happily share my experience and give emphasis on keeping control on state of mind and maintaining healthy hygiene.
