With power comes great responsibility, but what happens when that power becomes the utmost priority?
Today’s situation especially in politics shows the bitter part of the power and how the lust for power makes someone do things that may even tarnish the soul of their own and here this is a poem by me which tries to discover some such harsh truths that we all are aware of but still are ignorant towards them and somehow become the victims of such power politics.
The urge to rule just for the sake of power lust
Emotional plays overshadowing the practical facts
Lies sheathed in propagandas curbing the truth
Blindfolding people through absurd fearful rants
The blame game enough to befool the reasoning
Diverting the sufferings with some cynical chants
All these now becoming the new normal in life
Powerful using others just as puppets in their hands
