As there has been an overwhelming narrative abounding across the realm of social media which seems hugely abuzz with a recent occured incident of juvenile delinquency reeked of the reckless affront to the womankind in the most disparaging way , for some it might have again revived the spirit of Feminism and animated them with an impetus to continue their moral crusade against the undue oppression towards women and for others, frankly speaking must have popped up as a shield to protect their supremacist agenda under the garb of feministic advocacy.
As have been for long , now will more be emphatically heard ,
Male chauvinism, sexism , fetishism, sexual objectification, body shaming , Male gaze , misogyny ,
eve teasing , cat calling ,
wolf whistling , kissing noices , upskirting , mansplaining but we need not to be in perpetual oblivion regarding the fact that it is still all about flirting with words .
No , it is no more , it just perpetuates the ferocious notion of misogyny and sexism , it all just a way to consolidate the pure self interested base of
Pseudo Feminism , though I have not denied the utility of these terms for better comprehension of the whole scenario, however, one remains buoyed up until it outgrows it’s very purpose and when It does so , usually backfire .
That’s exactly what has occurred, which somehow unwittingly has given an ultimate leeway to these sexists and misogynists and unintentionally making them feel more empowered about their wrongdoings but still much attributed to the lethal patriarchal rut of our society because , if everyone jousts for superiority far away for sole purpose of equality, then that forms a basic premise , notwithstanding, this doesn’t not at all justify the act and make it less nefarious and atrocious .
Even the greatest progenitor of feminism Marry Wollstonecraft believed about feminism not just contesting for supremacy over men but just to brought about the equal society where all gender specifically women which have historically been subjected to oppression can easily stand for their very basic right to hold their heads high .
Championing about the social equality and equal opportunities for women shouldn’t be mistaken by exacting a retribution upon mankind as now days pseudo feminists seem engaged in , that is just a theoretically playing with words to exploit it to cast an aspersions on the entire mankind , dismissive of the very fact what feminism is meant for and may engender the vicious cycle of accentuating more ways to dominate people under the compelling spell .
What ruckus it has been creating , since pseudo feminists and ultra version of that without even caring about a true essence of it , have been intensifying their vested interest and making a huge deal of fortune by it but what has been left behind is the large legion of girls who really need a feministic crutch to lean upon to free themself from oppression they have been reeling under , be it under the guise of religious , political , commercial , cultural interest, etcetera.
What should have been there , seems horribly missing
The sole message of feminism, It had come up in the context of oppression being posed upon women thats why got christened as feminism but it still evinces of eternal emancipation for every single fellow human being who is being denied equal rights and opportunities and that will only be accomplished by impressing upon the masses about the pleasantness of regarding every fellow human being equal and inculcating the universal value ,most importantly, by bringing about a paradigm shift concerning all ever changing needs of present society , where everyone has practically an easy access to the highly sexualized content , but paradoxically society seems parrying an open discussion regarding these issues and moreover, still stigmatizing it as a taboo being blindly engrossed in their obstinate parochialism , hence , buttressing the inevitability of clashes .
Striking the balance , must be at priority by dismantling the patriarchy , we must not unconsciously foray into the rapacity of superiority and compromise on the very direction of it , otherwise this moral battle may go counterproductive.
