I recently heard about the news of a 25 year old woman who was raped in a moving bus from UP to Noida. There were other people in the bus too when the driver allegedly cornered the woman and raped her while the other driver was on the wheel.
This is of course not the first time we heard about a rape case it is common we Indians get to hear about them quite frequently so frequently that it has stopped making us react its just disgust that comes to our minds. This is a time when the whole world is going through a tough time where we dont know what the future holds for us the virus is taking a deadly turn and its getting worse day by day. It is sad to realize that in a situation like this where whole world is mourning on the deaths of family members and the whole world has come to a stop. People like the accused are the ones who brings disgust to human society, according to the police the women was coming to Noida to her husband when she was attacked by the driver.
We as a nation and specially every men who are helping public’s on various transportation or are in connection with public during this time should understand how important it is to be good and helpful to other humans. Humanitarian is something that really needs to be pushed inside the human brains to understand situations like these. No one on the bus stood for the women out there yes it is right we need to think about us first but does that mean we shouldn’t stand against things that are wrong. It always starts with one if during the incident any one person would have voiced for the woman it would have changed the thoughts of some others and a situation like this could have never happened.
Women are not pieces of meats that a men whenever he wants jump on her for satisfying his needs. I am not here talking about feminism or equal rights those are something which can be given to a women by individuals on their own wish, i just want to tell men to stop themselves from using women as a product of satisfaction of needs and to all people out there whenever you see something wrong happening in front of you use your voice it is scary or sometimes you feel awkward to do that but just remember it is always important to stand for the right that will automatically save you.
