Poetry: Guilty Until Proven Innocent

Man sunset

Guilty until proven innocent,
Since I’m innocent, they’re just being diligent.

See my kind, an invisible light, shines into the open night, I’m a star losing life, darkness fills me up inside, supernova, just might, because every star is alike.
The sun rises and we all disappear, we’re nowhere but here.

Fabricated; taught violence,
Circumstances don’t matter, we’re violent,

We’re alike, from afar you just spite, project your darkness onto life, your fear, your dwindling might, your culture, built by your like, ignore the sparks, little lights, all you see are black skies.
The sun’s down and we’re all here, want us to go where?

“The second majority”, still play the victim card,
Learn our place in society, flush, that’s the King’s heart.

The star you like, the Sun that shines over bright, gives you warmth and life, the centre that holds us all tight, wonder why the other stars don’t comply.
The stars can die for all we care, the sun’s our veneer.

You have similar friends, you don’t hate us,
Just want us to be better like APJ was,
And the other bunch that is famous,
The spineless, the people who evade us,
You’ve seen the internet, your mind’s made up,
All the wars, we’re inherently dangerous.

Rage in our minds, the news is picturesque
Faith is a lie, we have multiple mistresses.
Multiple kids, demographical changes
But we’re all here, illegal invaders.
Show you the papers, but you’ve burned down the neighbours, you did that to tame us, you jail us, afforded a leash, we should be grateful, the favour, you let us live caged up, you gave up.

Failed yourself, you haven’t failed us,
Sowed hate, now you’re all in the papers, everywhere, your country’s lost its crown because we’re everywhere
You made us, now you frown, you said its what we wear, you say it proud, you growl, you say you only care, to make your forefather’s dreams come, need a pretext, provided in other nationalities, we reject, trying to do good, you defect, an entire community, now piece it;
You sell the invasion, made your bed, the cells you made, the retainers, corporate sleeper cells.

Led yourself to believe the prescription,
The medicine, tainted hallucinogens,
What’s evident, it’s their true essence.

We’re the reason you aren’t at peace? Your stars aren’t aligned and Saturn’s weak,
Your leader maligns, and you believe the faux, we’re part of a machine that considers us both gauche.
