Quick Byte: “I Don’t Want My Children To Suffer The Way I Suffered”

man

There is something I must do to secure my future; here, I am not earning much. People of my age are well-settled abroad; I also want to live and work in other countries. My younger brother Shahbaaz is going to pursue his higher studies in Canada. My marriage is on hold until I settle in life. My life is left with two options: to upgrade my skills and look for better opportunities, or migrate to a foreign country.

Before we proceed further, I want to clear some apprehensions. People like me who are very attached to their hometown, society, and family members can’t live away. I always wonder, why is life so difficult for us? Our fate, effort, and hard work matter a lot on the journey of never-finding the truth.

Within a few months, I will be marrying a girl of my choice, Iqra, who I adore a lot. But I fear that my misfortunate days could break our bond. Do I sound pessimistic to you? I hope and pray that God brings happiness, comfort, and peace in our struggle. By the way, Shahbaaz will soon receive a green signal to apply for a visa, and we all hope that this time everything goes as planned.

I don’t want my children to suffer the way I suffered; for a little happiness and satisfaction. I want them to be successful in whatever field they are interested in, if not, I want to always be there for them, I want to be a happy and proud father.
