Started a new habit, learned it bit by bit
Started to write a story, the way I wanted it
Started to pray every day, learned to be fit
Keeping the light of hope in the hearts lit.
Started to paint a new life and enjoy it
Sipped a cup of tea, together now all family members regularly sit
Hurry no more; slow down, a bit by bit
Stand up for all and do show your Grit.
PANDEMIC made me realize it
Whether tall, dark, fair small; all lives are of equal benefit.
It is ultimately those that were unknown
Will risk their lives to help mine subsist.
PANDEMIC taught those who did not care,
To put them in the dens: they had so fondly built;
To make them suffer alone, Drenched with their guilt
To tell them how irrelevant were their differences!
It took them a disease to come to their senses.
PANDEMIC made me realize it
That no amount of money can buy life
And no amount of weapons can kill germs all through
That if there is an invisible enemy
There is an invisible force that helps us fight too!!
