on 27 June My Pad Bank successfully completed 2 years by distributing free sanitary pads in slums in Bareilly and surrounding areas. On this occasion, the team members celebrated the anniversary by going from where they started, distributing pads every month and then cutting cakes in the slum in Delapeer and expressed the joy of completing 2 years.
Founder Chitransh Saxena tells that we do not know when it has been 2 years. In these 2 years we have had our session among more than 8000 people, made them aware of menstruation and distributed free pads to about 1000+ people. We did not think so much while starting the pad bank, the aim was to start by giving free pads to only 17 girls. And finally all the members of the team also thanked all the people associated with the tree bank and the media persons for the cooperation, Chitransh tells that the media has done a great job in building an image among people.
