I got my first period when I was in 8th standard. I was in my school cab in morning when I started feeling sticky and uncomfortable in my undies. Thank goodness I studied in a girls school . Our school has already shown us documentaries organised by whisper till that age about menstrual cycles , I went to washroom and saw blood and therefore I knew what it was but I never used a pad that time nor did I had any with me , I got panicked and I talked to my class monitor who was a good friend….she took permission from the sir as our maths class was going on to take me to medical room and then we left for the medical room….. There the doctor gave me a sanitary napkin , I was crying that how will I tell my mom about this as I was very reserved and not Frank with my parents but my school doctor made me feel comfortable and therefore somehow after coming home I told my mother and then she straight away went to purchase v shaped panty for me as I used to wear bloomer underwear and sent me for fresh bath.
