Representational image.

A glorifying perspective of differentiation is explicitly lensed throughout the history of mankind. The great philosopher Aristotle was against the citizenship of women and his contemporary Plato kept her reproductive role at a higher pavement. Western Medieval culture also blurred the merit of women and placed her on the front seat of injustice.
India, the land of goddess Ganga overtly lauded patriarchy and injustice.

There is a dichotomy between Devi-Dasi, at times she is Devi (goddess), but majorly she is a dasi (servant). Such inequality and discrimination are highly prevalent from the era of the post-Vedic period to the contemporary revolution stage. Booting over every obstacle women of this era are emerging out as a woman, those years of unequal treatment made the woman puissant to believe in her abilities.

So, What Is Feminism?

Feminism is the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes. Although largely originating in the West, feminism is manifested worldwide and is represented by various institutions committed to activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests. Ideology and the first wave were erupted in 1902 by Elizabeth Cady Stanton when she rallied with men and women for women’s rights.

People may contrast and strike with various perspectives about the rights of humans not merely for one gender and similar other deviation but if people acknowledge the historical aspects of injustice and humiliation it will be easy to digest why there is a need for such perception.

As a concluding note, the government is doing humongous work in providing the bedrock of liberty through various plans and provisions but what is required is a nucleated change in the traditional paradox thought that can bring respect to her existence.
