Fight with Covid’19

Representational image.

In the context of Covid 19, we have a growing tendency to view expat friends from abroad as coroners. Many people are worried that the Gulf people are sick, that they live in the house next door, and that the winds that touch them cause our disease. Such an attitude towards expatriates who hopefully can board a flight home after a hardship abroad and stay in quarantine in a state of depression is quite violent.

The exiles like us are the children of this land. They are not destined to live in anyone’s favor. The soil, water, air and light of the land belongs to them too. There is no need to alienate or alienate them when they are in quarantine as per government instructions to ensure there is no illness.

Friends who are residents abroad should follow the instructions given by the government. You don’t have to think the locals hate you for having to live in the quarantine. You must realize that your quarantine life is a great social good for the safety of yourself and the community.

Shamsul Huda, who runs the Amathala Jamaat, was able to experience the mental satisfaction of visiting a group of expatriate friends who were living in Quarantine today with his colleagues.
