Another horrible incident of abduction and murder has taken place in Uttar pradesh’s Gorakhpur. A 14-year-old boy was kidnapped and killed. Miscreants made a ransom call to the father of the victim demanding a hefty amount of ₹1 crore. The abduction of the paan and grocery shop owner’s 14-year-old son took place in Pipraich area of Gorakhpur. The gruesome incident happened when the boy went to play outside after taking his lunch. By the evening of Sunday, kidnappers called the victim’s father for ransom.
The victim’s father immediately informed the police, and after the investigation, the body of the 14-year-old boy was recovered from a jungle area near canal. “After taking lunch on Sunday afternoon, my son had gone outside to play. In the evening, I received a phone call from an unknown number and the person on the line asked me to pay a ransom of ₹1 crore for my son.” said the father.
Five persons were involved in the heinous act of kidnapping and murder. Police is searching for two more people were involved in the case. Gorakhpur SSP Sunil Kumar Gupta stated that soon after getting the information, police responded immidiately and nabbed Dayanand, the major accused of kidnapping case in jungle Dhoosar area. Culprit Dayanand revealed the names of his companions involved in abduction and murder. Sunil Kumar Gupta affirmed that the miscreants packed his body in a bag and threw it near Kewatia nulla area. SSP stated that the accused were planning to kidnap the 14-year-old boy from past eight to ten days.
According to the SSP of Gorakhpur, Dayanand was involved in property dealing and the victim’s father had also bought a land. So, they thought that the victim’s father could easily pay the ransom of ₹1 crore.
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is upset over the crime. He has ordered for a strict action against the criminals in abduction case. He also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the victim’s family.
Kidnapping cases have increased in UP from some days. Recently, two more kidnappings had took place in Gonda and Kanpur of UP. Out of 2 recent cases, 1 hostage had been killed where as the other hostage of kidnapping case was rescued.
