Respected Ma’am,
Every student deserves a teacher who not only guides but mentors them to get the best in life; it’s what they deserve. I have been fortunate enough to not only meet but be nurtured by my loving teachers who have always picked me whenever I fell and showed me the ray of light wherever I was stuck.
But ma’am, you have not only mentored me but also showered me with your blessings and positivity in a way that it has changed my outlook for life forever. I owe my achievements to all my GURUS, but to you, I owe everything ma’am. I always wonder, how do you find optimism and opportunity in everything you come across? Probably your far-sighted vision starts observing a situation from the place where we left it saying, “Nothing can be done now. We’ve lost everything.” Though it’s not Teachers’ Day today, I feel there’s no need of an occasion to pay my gratitude to you.
I still remember when I was in class 6th, I was scared to be in the same room as the student I had a fight with, but you made me face her. You made me realise the importance of accepting reality. Despite the numerous requests by my parents and me, you didn’t change my section and made me face her. That day your disagreement to our request turned me into a confident girl I am today; I stand out in the crowd with my confidence now. Today, I realise the lesson you taught me: of not escaping from reality and instead, facing it with confidence.
Another instance I can never forget is when we had our prelims. We had our paper verification, and I was upset because of my low score in mathematics and science. At that moment, you made me realise that importance of highlighting one’s strengths and not letting our weakness overpower them. You made me focus on my excellent score in languages instead and asked me to give more attention to them. Following your advice, I not only focused more but also ended up scoring the highest, and today, I am making my career out of this.
When it comes to you, every word of gratitude falls short. You have always nurtured me with your immense love and care, and you continue to guide me. Even today, you haven’t stopped showering your affection, and you still introduce me to new opportunities in life. You have been the happiest person and cherished all my achievements. Though my achievements are small, you are always proud of me. Ma’am, I know you have a lot of hopes for me, and I promise you that I will keep working hard until the day comes when I can say, “Ma’am, I made you PROUD.”
