Why The Digital Campaign Of Modi Govt. Has Less Relevance In COVID-19

The Coronavirus days have left us stunned with the measurability of destruction. The news headlines are flooded with the rising numbers. With every passing day, the increasing numbers are only haunting us. It’s not just that the ordinary issues like employment, pay scale, promotion, household chores have become a headache for us. The big problem that’s irritating is the toleration power. Toleration power is decreasing day by day. People residing under one roof are running after their life as they’ve become unbearable.

People who haven’t spent a single second at their homes are cursing each other in spending time with their loved ones. The dear ones who once had been their favourites are lying somewhere in the last priority in the list. Indeed, this jolt has shaken all of us, but still, it’s very difficult to cope with a fact that we are living our life with our parents either without earning or with earning. Constant bickerings with parents and siblings are just merely adding complications in daily life. Life has given a sudden break and we all are suffering.

Then there’s the shameful situation is the rising cases of domestic violence. Many more issues like girls’ education and child labour which have been ignored for years are again gaining attention. The problems are getting even more intense as no considerable solution is yet to be heard.

Girls’ education has become a major problem because of lack of resources. Now just think for a capsule second, in such difficult days when everyone is crying for help to overcome this disease, why girls are not even able to assess the basic education.

No digital facilities in rural places have only added to questioning the government’s well-thought-out plans. Despite Modi’s digital campaigns, girls who are sitting inside their rural homes, are not even able to access their digital facilities. Believe it or not, smartphones, computers are still negligible at their homes. The question arises here that how the girls who used to be regular in attending classes will overcome these conditions. Forget about menstruation problem due to which attendance used to stay low, the situation seems to be so deplorable that their dream of receiving education seems to have faded away.

Moreover, it appears that the government really needs to re-think their strategies to plan a considerable action in order to overcome the coronavirus. It is understandable that the government is helpless in solving this complex problem. However, they really need to prove their capability in the second chance as given to the Modi government.
