HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Namaskar!

Happy 74th Independence day to all the people living in the country & abroad.

One individual may die for an idea; but that idea will, after his death incarnate itself in a thousand lives“.

This quote by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose means that we are the human incarnation of the ideas that our ancestors had thought of. India must strive harder everyday for a better life, one that gives prosperity & equality to all its citizens.

On this day, I, as the youth of India feel the special pride of being a citizen of this glorious free nation. We gratefully remember our freedom fighters & soldiers whose sacrifices have enabled us to live in an independent country today.

August 15, fills us with the excitement of the unfurling of the tricolor, of taking part in celebrations & of listening to patriotic songs.

The Restrained Celebrations This Independence Day

The reason for this is obvious. The whole world confronts a deadly virus that has disrupted all activities & taken a huge toll on our lives. It has also altered the world we lived in before the pandemic. The nation is in debt to doctors, nurses & other health workers, police officials who have been continuously been on the forefront of our fight against this virus. These generous citizens of our motherland have been scripting inspiring stories of courage & selfless service. With our joint and committed efforts, we have succeeded in constraining the magnitude of the pandemic.

We have learned that with our joint endeavor, we will make new advancements in science & technology, in harmony with nature and make the world more sustainable.

We as the youth have a lot to offer to the global community, especially in the fields of intellectual & spiritual enrichment & promotion of world peace. India is the largest democracy in the world & has to continue playing a leading role for the betterment of humanity. With this spirit, I once again wish everyone a very happy & healthy Independence Day.

I wish we all good health & a bright future.

Thank you,

Jai Hind!
