I remember being extremely calm while boarding my flight for my hometown, Kolkata. The window seat didn’t seem to be the same as it had been in the past few months. The three-hour-long flight made me introspect into life, moving forward and lots more. I have been into lifestyle blogging for a long time, five years precisely. I know that I won’t be able to pitch outlets for collaborating with them. So, how to earn a living?
Well, the commencement of lockdown itself opened doors of opportunities. I found a plethora of brands approaching me, sending me products and a certain amount to curate content for their brand on social media platforms. Brand campaigns are always on-trend after all, brand awareness matters and one has to keep up with it. Guest posts, product reviews, live sessions with brands and most importantly, being consistent with my blog helped me garner good reach and get a lot of brand collaborations even during a global pandemic.
Besides that, I have been teaching since the age of 13. Be it private tuition or local institutes in Dehradun, I have been pretty much active since long. However, the current situation hasn’t stopped me from imparting education. I teach Communicative English, globally. I have students from various countries including India as well. E-learning is a very powerful tool with lots of resources and it has proved to be a boon for me in these days. God bless all!
