Women are considered prime mover and to a successful man stands behind a woman, a wife, a mother,a sister etc. First of all despite this, women get raw deal in India. Patriarchy system is everywhere but lndian one is more în dowry related. The question is be it any reason for that if women do not receive the respect they deserve at home in family or in their own country it is men that deserve no respect anywhere in the world. Cow is another issue.But for this we have to decide whether women or cow first. I always say if there is a choice in the middle of the road and at the spar of the moment in the name of cow you cannot innore Sita or women. If a choice is given whether a baby girl or mother or a boy or mother. What is the choice we make? Similarly the choice lndia has is Ram mandir or cow vigilant? It looks like cow is given more importance. Jews are no different. Muslims are no different. But lndia being world’s largest democratic country. We need tolerance and accommodation of views and practices. Secularism is inaliable part of Indian constitution. Not respect for religions but even person with no religion. In the context of Hinduva ideology do we tolerate other religions? That is the core issue of Indianness. All major religions were born here: Hinduism, Budhism, Christianity(first century AD in Cranganore while in Europe and United State it still was a proscribed sect), Sikhism, Jainism, Parsi/ Zoroastrianim, Tribal religion or animism. Hindutva or any ideology based political parties must consider all these which are in Indian constitution. Education in lndia cannot be Maucalayian based on Brahmanism but that of East India company. They constructed religious places. Muslims and Hindus should do that…?
