Quick Byte : Is It Really An Independent India?

We are rejoicing in our 73rd Independence Day but something hit me hard about the independence day that we are all ignoring. I don’t think we are free. We are still facing issues of discrimination, suppression, bigotry. We have battled for freedom in a war that was not easy but now we are instead, fighting with the people of our country. This is creating a rift among us based on who is poor, rich, Hindu, Muslim, Dalit and so on.

We are not independent in an Independent India

Communalism is breaking our country apart. All the resources and progress made is being used to promote Hindutva which is entirely different from the sacred tenets of the Hindu religion, which respects all the other religions.

Our beloved country is the emblem of unity is diversity. All religions live together with love and affection. So we need to raise our voice against any sort of discrimination which is based on religion, caste, social status.

We need to walk together and work hard to make our country more prosperous and developed, a developed country rather than one which is developing country by facing all challenges and conquering them.
