Dear Sherina Joshi Ma’am,
I am writing this letter to thank you for encouraging me to write on political issues, history and entertainment industry of India. After feeling encouraged, I have chosen the profession of journalism. I am preparing for my entrance exam for a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication. Your kind words to me were- “You, my child, write really very well.” These words are stuck in my head which further allow me to write.
After writing for various platforms, including this one i.e. Youth ki awaaz, what I’ve realised is that no matter if the instinct dies, some words leave an incredible mark on the minds, which are inevitable. I again, thank you, because, on my worst days, your kind words did miracles for me.
Teachers day is celebrated every year on 5th September across the nation. Be it school or college, September 5th is celebrated as teacher’s day to give them respect. They are our gurus, disguised as potential mentors and have always taught us the right way to live a happy life.
At every path of our lives, they have made it worth living. At every phase of our lives, they have reminded us to allow the scope of improvement. A teacher is someone who gives us full freedom to ensure that our self-respect and self-esteem grows properly. They teach us, motivate us and make us realise our mistakes. They have always taught us to be better people.
This is what I have always felt about you, ma’am. You are still a source of inspiration to me. You have always taught me to not to give up so easily, no matter how hard the situation in life is. And you always taught me to move on, as you always said, that life is all about moving on. I will always be your loving baccha no matter how much I grow up!
