A Teacher Who Is Also Our Enemy

Hello, everyone.

Hope you’re all doing well. This is my first blog on not only this site, but also on the internet, so please pardon my English.

So, are you surprised by seeing the title in which I’m comparing a teacher to an enemy? The story behind this title starts today in the morning as usual, after I wake up and refresh myself, and take out my mobile to go on social media. I’m not surprised by people’s stories on social media, because they are putting only one side of that teacher on social media and celebrating Teacher’s Day. Guess who he/she/it is.

I’m talking about Google.

Yes, it might be possible that you guys have already seen stories on social media wishing Teacher’s Day to Google.

While Google is our teacher as it has a lot of information on everything, it is also our enemy because it has reduced our ability to think about problems on our own.

But what I think is yes, Google is a good teacher. You can get any information you want on it. There is a lot of study material you can find on Google, but then, why am I also calling it an enemy?

Th reason is simple: just ask this one question to yourself from when you were in 2005. If your school teacher had asked your class a question and asked you to answer it the next day, what would you have done after reaching home? The answer is you’d have asked your parents. Had they not known the answer, then you’d have asked your friends and neighbours, and if they also had not known, then you’d have thought about it by yourself.

So from my side, Google is our enemy because our ability to think about problems on our own is going away day by day. And so, intelligence is going down day by day. Nowadays, if students asks questions from their parents, parents do a Google search instead of giving them answers by themselves.

Hope you all understand and leave your valuable comment on this. Thank you ?
