I am writing this letter to those human beings who have beautiful eyes and through which they stalk me beautifully. You know whenever you look at me, I feel shy and sometimes scared too. Sometimes, I go all, “Yay, am I so interesting to look at?“. But I feel offended and ridiculous at other times.
Above all, I have to cover myself with clothes and a so-called #BRA-Big Rude Attire along with a top.
The way your whole body works with nutritions and hormones, likewise I am the part of it and work accordingly, because of which I exist in variations of size and shape. Awwww, but you love big ones na? It’s rare I think. My loving idiot, was it your relatives who set this criterion of an ideal size? I want to meet them because you are being taught the wrong way.
I know that while sleeping, we move in different directions, but can’t we please take rest after bouncing the whole day? Ew, I hate wearing tight-fitting bras 👙. “Matlab ab sone time bhi taadoge?” (Are you going to really stare at me while sleeping also?)
Uggghh, then are these two 🛵 and four 🚕 wheelers who don’t let us stay at one place, especially at breakers and “ubbad-khaabad” ( road. And your high powered vision 👀 constantly looks at our dance, it feels weird man!
If I’m wearing a T-shirt, you focus on the lining; the saree’s blouse is an ultimate lust; in a salwar, the hook catches your attention; in tubes, you stare and see how sagged I am. Well, at least you love to research me, I guess?
You will say, “Humein toh doosron ka achhha lagta hai, hum to comment karenge, yeh bhi hum hi decide karenge , ye bhi ham decide karenge uska dimension sahi hai ki nahi”, (We will comment and we will decide whether we like their dimensions or not) we know.
But it’s not always about a joke. Every time when a girl moves out, she looks atleast ten times at her breasts and their positioning and the bra lines. She doesn’t share even with her girlfriend that she is doing so. She wants to assure herself that they are covered so no one looks and it doesn’t attract attention. She goes through this situation at least once a day. And it’s not a joke or a simple thing to be ignored.
It’s not only a man who looks at us, there are women too who make another woman feel that her breasts are not looking good or seem weird or how they aren’t perfect. Do you think it should happen? Why can’t you just look in my eyes instead of looking at my boobs? “Maalik baksh do”. (Spare me, God)
Though body shaming has a broad dimension, the way you categorise an ideal size definitely falls under it. Like other parts of our body, boobs are a part too and have a different growth phenomenon that varies from person to person. We don’t have the right to determine whether it’s perfect or not. Even a male body has variations of different types. And it’s inevitable and natural. Respect it!
