Can Bihar Political League Be Won Through A Virtual Reality?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional 20-20 cricket fraternity that was founded in the year of 2008. But, there is a Bihar Political League(BPL) going on which is confined up to the state precincts. On one side, the sports-loving spectators having an interest in the game of instant cricket are enjoying the sexy sixers and formidable fours reductively, while the political parties in Bihar are getting ready to fight the battle of ballots through the Electronic Voting Machines which are used now.

The political arena is not as sterilised and clean as the cricket stadium is kept. In such an adverse scenario, pure political leaders have been holding virtual meetings and rallies. However, it does not truly give a similar impression as a candid contact to the humble voters. How can the voters’ mood be changed through the influence of social media? Here, a political party has to win hearts for the precious vote. It can be impacted on solely by the direct manifestation. A virtual hype fails to bring that much result that is obtained after a courtesy.

The ruling BJP workers have connected with more than two crores voters through WhatsApp groups. As many as 20,000  party activists are supposed to be busy in changing the moods and minds of voters. They are told to bring the leaders’ digital rallies up to the common man’s doors. The party has also pressed into service its expert IT in-charges from the top to the bottom booth level. The use of technology has now become the practical norm of electioneering. It is not limited to only the prevailing saffron party, but parties with all the hues are giving rise to the same technique.

Yet, there remains the need for the physical presence of the leaders at the voters’ doors. The virtual contacts cannot create that kind of impressive effect. If it is not possible in the game of cricket despite its complete telecast as its players sweat and show the best performance in the field directly, why do the wily politicians shirk from it? It can not be denied that they have to follow the Election Commission guidelines.

Why do they not realise the efficacy of a door-to-door campaign? They also point out that it is not possible during the time of scary virus. The contesting candidate with a total of five persons is allowed to avail such type of poll campaigning.

It does matter if the leader sits several miles away from the voters in the public meeting. This is an X-ray tech that can not win the voters’ hearts. This will demonstrate how hilarious our politicians are! Could this sort of strategy work in the elections perfectly? The Biharis are supposedly meditating over the change through the voting power. They are supposed to be indicating their profound resentment at the politicians’ false promises.
